Taking screenshots on your iPhone 5 is super easy with our how-to guide

One of the best features of the iOS 6-powered iPhone 5 is the built-in screenshot capability. While this isn't a new feature by any means, it's quite useful, especially when you need to share screen information quickly.

That being said, if you think taking a screenshot sounds pretty cool but don't know how to do it, you've come to the right place. Here we show you how to snap screenshots in just a few easy steps.

To start snapping screenies, just follow the easy steps below:

  1. Wake your iPhone 5.
  2. Hold down the Power button and the Home button at the same time(hold the buttons for about two seconds). Your screen will flash white for a split second.
  3. OK, you're done. Your screenshot will now be available in the iPhone camera roll.

Now head on out and start snapping some awesome screenies to share.

The instructions above may power off your iPhone.

The correct way to take a screen shot is to press home & power buttons briefly at the same moment.

Mike is right. Holding for 2 secs does nothing.

Hold the power button in and press home button, screen will flash and hey presto, screen shot
