Evasi0n's iOS 7 jailbreak may be on its way after the hacker group released its review on the iPhone 5

Evasi0n's iOS 7 jailbreak may be about to break loose after the hacker group issued its iOS 7 views on the iPhone.

@pod2g, one of the four members of Evasi0n tweeted Tuesday:

"Lots of cool features in iOS 7. The gap between 6 and 7 is huge comparing to 5 and 6. Can't wait to test. Exciting."

Suggesting the group is working on a jailbreak for Apple's newest operating system.

Evasi0n is well-known for its super fast, free jailbreaks for the iPhone, iPad and other idevices. Other members of the group are @pimskeks, @planetbeing and @MuscleNerd.

Evasi0n avoided bringing out a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3, saying it was getting ready for iOS 7 instead. It was @planetbeing who publicly announced the group was waiting for the next major update before releasing a jailbreak.

People were so upset Evasi0n wasn't going to produce a hack for iOS 6.1.3, millions of iUsers signed an online petition, trying to coerce Evasi0n into releasing a download.

The first Evasi0n jailbreak for the iPhone 5 took a while to roll out and Apple was very quick indeed to issue a patch to stop the hack working.

Although Evasi0n resisted outing a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3, there were plenty of 'fake' jailbreaks available from untrusted sources. Many of the hackers were charging for the unofficial download that led a lot of people to hold back and wait for Evasi0n's free version.

Evasi0n is the most popular jailbreak for iPhone users and to date, millions of people have used the resource to set their idevices free.
