Rumor suggests that the upcoming Nokia Lumia 900 could hit AT&T for the bargain price of $99.99

Rumor has it that the Windows Phone-powered Nokia Lumia 900 is currently in the midst of the technical acceptance process and could arrive on AT&T as early as March 18.

Nothing new really since that date has been tossed around before. However, the big news is the potential price. According to a BGR tipster, the Lumia 900 could retail for only $99.99.

Obviously, that would be an agressive price point for a Windows Phone 7.5 device with respectable specs like a big 4.3-inch AMOLED display, 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and LTE connectivity.

We sincerely hope that the price holds up because it would be the first really attractive reason to check out a Windows Phone. Plus, the Microsoft/Nokia partnership needs to make a big splash at launch.
