Adobe brings Photoshop to iPad 2
Photoshop Touch for iPad 2 available now for $9.99
Adobe announced a version of its popular Photoshop app for the iPad 2 in Barcelona today.
The app, called Photoshop Touch, debuted at Mobile World Congress. It looks like the company is aiming to emulate the success of its Android app in bringing quality image editing functionality to a super mobile environment.
Photoshop Touch features core functions from the desktop version of the software including photo retouching, layers and tools like fade.
The software also offers several new features which make it ideal for use with a tablet. This includes social network integration, which allows users to share their creations through Facebook and other social mediums.
Adobe also announced plans to bring more core software to iOS including apps for sketching, presenting work and even mobile app development.
Photoshop Touch can only be used with an iPad 2 running iOS 5+ and is available through the App Store for just $9.99.
