Reports suggest that the powerhouse Samsung Galaxy S III is confirmed for an April release

New reports are confirming an April release for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III.

The rumor comes from ZDNet Korea who cite sources with Samsung's ad agency Cheil Worldwide, BGR reports.

This info falls in line with previous reports of a March/April timeframe

Whatever the case, the Galaxy S III should be worth waiting for. Features are expected to include a 4.8-inch 1080p display, an 8-megapixel rear- camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Exynos processor and 1GB of RAM.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and LTE/42Mbps HSPA + connectivity are also said to be part of the deal.

There's even talk of a handsome case with a backing made from ceramic.

If these rumors hold true, the Samsung Galaxy S III will be the most advanced Android smartphone on the market by far. April can't come soon enough.
