iPhone and Android users can now score free cloud storage through AT&T Locker

AT&T launched its own cloud storage service on Thursday, dubbed AT&T Locker. Both iPhone (3GS and higher) and Android (version 2.1 and higher) owners will be able to take advantage of the service, which includes the first 5GB (that's about 5,000 photos) at no additional cost. After that, AT&T offers 30GB or 100GB per month; $3.99 and $9.99, respectively.

Those who use the service will have the option to easily share their media on popular social networks like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. Photos and video can be uploaded via Wi-Fi, wireless or both. There's also a photo and video album feature, as well as space for music and other types of files.

AT&T Locker is available in Apple's App Store and the Google Play Store. Read the full release here.
