CES 2013: ZTE intros Grand S
The ZTE Grand S sports Android, a 5-inch 1080p screen and is extremely thin
ZTE introduced the Grand S smartphone at CES 2013 and the feature-packed Android phone is quite a powerful handset packed into an ultra-thin form factor.
The ZTE Grand S is only .27-inches thick and the handset sports a 5-inch, 1080p HD display. You're also looking at a quad-core Snapdragon 1.7GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and all the other features you'd want in a high-end device. You can also look forward to a 13-megapixel camera on the back.
Look for the ZTE Grand S to launch with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but it's likely not going to come to the U.S. market. Expect to see the Grand S land in China in the next few months.
The ZTE Grand S is just the latest high-end handset introduced at CES 2013, as the Sony Xperia Z and the Huawei Mate were also unveiled. All of the smartphones feature similar premium specs.
