4G LTE Samsung Galaxy S3 coming to T-Mobile this spring
A 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy S3 is coming to T-Mobile very soon
A 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy S3 is due to launch on T-Mobile USA this spring, according to a new report Monday. The device is expected to land either March 27th or April 3rd, according to a leaked T-Mobile handset roadmap.
T-Mobile USA will be the fourth wireless operator to offer a 4G LTE Galaxy S3 along with Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon Wireless. Overall, the 4G LTE Galaxy S3 will be the first in a line of LTE handsets expected to be announced for T-Mobile later this year.
Samsung's Galaxy S3, which was announced for the U.S. market earlier last year, is the follow up to the highly successful Samsung Galaxy S II. The device features a 4.8-inch display and a polycarbonate casing. Samsung has positioned the Galaxy S3 to be Android's 2012-13 flagship.
Like Verizon's variant, T-Mobile's Galaxy S3 will probably feature sport a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera, and 16GB of internal storage. The device will likely launch with Android 4.1 with TouchWiz 5.0 on top.
Obviously, due to the nature of this being a leak, no pricing information is available as of yet, though we expect the company to announce details this soon. The smartphone will likely be available in the same colors as it is now.
Along with the Galaxy S3, the leaked roadmap tipped two others handsets for spring. Two different models of the Samsung T599 Galaxy Exhibit are listed with official launch dates being set for the 20th of March. The first BlackBerry 10-powered Z10 has also been listed for March.
Of course, at this point, it's a little unclear if these devices are a definite, but expected to hear more soon. Stay tuned T-Mobile fans!
