TmoNews reports that HTC's One S Android smartphone will launch April 25th on Magenta

T-Mobile's HTC One S will launch April 25th, according to a new report by T-Mobile enthusiast site TmoNews. The One S will be the first Sense 4.0 smartphone to launch on T-Mobile with Android 4.0.

News of the possible April 25th release date comes by way of T-Mobile's own training manual, which indicates how Magenta will place the One S in its lineup. The manual states explicitly that the One S will arrive on April 25th. Whether this is exact launch date is impossible to tell, but it is definitely probable.

The leaked manual also reveals key aspects of T-Mobile's marketing plan for the One S, and it sounds like Magenta will be investing some big cash. According to the manual, the One S will be front and center in its stores and online, with TV commerials set to run until early summer.

As a brief refresher, the One S packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch SLC display and runs Android 4.0 ICS with Sense 4.0 on top. The device also has an 8-megapixel shooter capable of capturing 1080p HD video.

For Android 4.0 fan boys on T-Mobile, the HTC One S is one phone to definitely keep your eye on. Android 4.0 and Sense 4.0 really sounds mighty good.
