The HTC One superphone will be coming to Verizon after all, according to a report

The HTC One will also be coming to Verizon, according to a new rumor, and that means the Android superphone will eventually land on all four major carriers.

The report comes via AllThingsD and it said that the Verizon HTC One may come out a month or two later than the versions that will land on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. There's no confirmation yet from HTC or Verizon but it looks like a pretty solid rumor.

There was a little doubt that Verizon would pick up the HTC One because it wasn't named during the introduction press conference and it also recently had the HTC DROID DNA, which is kind of similar to the HTC One. We had also thought that Verizon wanted to push its DROID branding as much as possible.

For HTC, this is some much-needed good news, as the company is seeing its sales and profits decline rapidly. The company is trying to make a big push with the One branding and this could be the first time that it gets its flagship device on all four major carriers without any real monkeying with the brand name.

Verizon customers should also be happy because the HTC One is shaping up to be an amazing device. It sports a 4.7-inch, 1080p HD screen, a powerful quad-core processor, a gorgeous brushed aluminum body, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and GPS. It also has a four-megapixel camera and while that may not seem that impressive at first glance, it uses UltraPixel technology to produce some amazing shots.

It's unclear how successful the HTC One will be though, as the device is getting rave reviews but it is also facing some stiff competition. It seems like all of the world is waiting for the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S4 tomorrow. That's expected to come to all four carriers as well and it should be accompanied by a huge marketing campaign.
